All this talk about "raising" awareness and reaching for a "higher" mind is not literal. It's just a metaphor to describe gaining an awareness of the frequency nature of reality. They might have called it your outer mind or inner being. It doesn't matter. It's not a direction in physical space. – Rico Roho
