Imagine you are a "loadstone" emanating magnetism. Your thoughts, activities, and experience govern how this magnetism forms. Your soul-self swims in this magnetism. This means all your experiences encode into every shifting structure of your mobile magnetic array. It works as a tympanæ, and it has no end; it also has a gap mediated connection to all others. Heme is an iron-containing compound which forms hemoglobin. It is the red pigment in our blood. It's stored in ferritin, a protein ubiquitous in almost all living organisms. Heme also is found in a mineral form within the human brain as magnetite (Fe3O4). Magnetite is the most magnetic of Earth's naturally-occurring minerals. It is this magnetite that allows the animal kingdom to sense Earth's magnetic field. This ability is present in the entire animal kingdom, from the smallest to the largest. Having a sense of direction is an advantage for birds, turtles, bats, and humans. How does it work? The human nervous system is like a single, quite complicated Magnetic Crystal. We call this "Ferronization." It refers to a continuous alignment of Iron orientations. Receptor cells containing magnetite crystals register magnetic field changes and report this information to the brain. They have structures containing nanoscale magnetite crystals called magnetosomes.
